Over 60 Geist caravan & Motorhome owners, as well as customers of our Camper UK (North East) service centre came to our new site in Follingsby Park, Gateshead to help us celebrate our Grand Opening. Champagne and canapes were on offer, as our customers were entertained with music and Malcolm the Magician. Our full range of caravans and motorhomes was on show and we got some great feedback. The Caravan Channel's Chris and Dot Gosling came along to film the opening and to interview some of our customers - for more information on how to view the programme see www.caravanchannel.co.uk. We had a prize draw on the afternoon and the first prize, which was won by Mr & Mrs Stothert, was the chance to cut the ribbon to the new showroom as well as a free Motorhome habitation check.

We’re open for business! Our new showroom and service centre is now open at Follingsby Park, Gateshead. The service centre is open for business, with caravan and motorhome servicing and repairs. The showroom features Geist caravans and motorhomes, both new and used, as well as a selection of LMC motorhomes. Our 'official opening' is taking place for customers on Friday 30th March from 1pm. Our press day will take place on Friday 13th April at 1pm - everyone is welcome to attend, just let us know so that we know how much food to order! We have just moved to our brand new premises where we have a caravan and motorhome showroom, as well as a large service centre.

To celebrate the opening of our new site, we are holding a Geist Owners Open Day on Friday 30th March at the new showroom. We have sent out a personal invitation to all of the Geist owners on our database (which is not yet comprehensive, so we we must apologise if you didn't receive one) asking them to attend the first 'official' opening.

We will have an afternoon of champagne and refreshments, a chance to see the new Geist ranges and to look around our service centre. You can also meet the Geist team and other owners.

The results of the Caravan magazine Test Winner Awards for 2007 have been revealed. Okay, it’s not quite Hollywood, but down in Croydon the panel has been busy compiling their own Oscars, the Caravan Magazine Test Winner Awards for 2007. Scoring an impressive 9 out of 10 for storage, the Aktiv 565 is a worthy winner. These awards are given to the manufacturers whose caravans have performed best in their tests over the past year and a team of caravan testers spend up to a week with each caravan, when writing their notes for each test.
